Rating by category:
it's located 30 seconds from the metro and next to a lot of restaurants and shops. akasaka seems to be a business area so its not as busy as other districts. the overnight staff was very helpful.
the hotel room was small but standard for japan however it cost twice as much as osaka. the lobby and hallways smelt bad on the first two days and the room seemed to have a faint smell.
The location is excellent with so many restaurants close by and a Tokyo Metro station just 2 minutes away.
Excellent location in middle of Akasaka business & entertainment district - only 60 seconds walk to Akasaka Mitsuke station!
A typical Japanese hotel, small rooms, clean, and excellent guest courtesy at front desk. Location is pretty good, with subway access to Shibuya, Roppoongi and other central Tokyo areas. Subway station Akasaka-mitsuki less than a block away. Atasaka, nice for dining, modern and clean, but not much nightlife. Good price for downtown, about $100 US/night.
The staff is very friendly and speaks English. Rooms are clean and compact. Location is superb, the near metro station (1 minute walk) has very convenient lines. The Akasaka area has many restaurants, bars and convenience stores and is usually very crowded at night with business men.
This is a business style hotel that I as a leisure traveller found great. Spacious rooms for a well priced Tokyo hotel, clean, helpful staff and in a central location near the metro.
This is a well priced business hotel so don't expect pool, gym etc
The staff was very friendly and helpful. It was nice that breakfast was included. The locations was near 2 subway stations, so it was very easy to get around.
Our "non-smoking" hotel room smelled like smoke. We considered asking to be moved, but realized it was coming through the vents and from outside our room.
Good location, close to the subway. In an area with a bunch of restaurant and activities. Quite and calme.
Location near Akasaka metro station is literally two small blocks away, perfect for getting to Shibuya, Tokyo station and other interesting spots. The surrounding area is great too and the hotel is clean, well-appointed with everything you could need. Rooms are small, but they work well as with everywhere in Japan.
Cleanliness & upkeep was excellent.
Most of the hotel staff not understanding English
Ckeck-in time 15..00 is not good. We arrived to Narita at 8.00 morning, left our luggage at the hotel and were walking tired. Why not to permit check-in at 12.00 (if it is possible) as many hotels in Europe do without extra chage?
The hotel is in a prime location. The cost is not bad for Tokyo. The internet is fast if you plug in your own laptop to the LAN line.
Booked.net represented the room as a double when in fact it is a semi-double. Semi-double is a peculiar room type in Japan that is smaller in bed and room size to a real double. Note that with a semi-double my wife and I had to constantly rearrange our two bags in the room to move around. The supplied computer is really slow making it seem as if the internet connection is slow when in fact it is fast (see likes).
Really close to akasaka-mitsuke subway station, lots of shops and restaurants around the hotel. small, but comfortable room. friendly staff, and they speak english fluently. overall, a really nice hotel.
Great Location and Clean Rooms
Of course it is small but you expect that in Japan, TV was not good and no wifi
nice staff, it's clear
don't have WIFI at the room (but at the each room they have a PC)
